Each sauna is designed, engineered, and built by highly skilled craftsman who take pride in every joint, bench, roofline, and glass element. Rather than mass production, the build remains hands-on, allowing for a higher level of precision, consistency, and quality control. Our saunas are handcrafted from premium, Grade A solid Canadian cedar, responsibly sourced and sustainably milled. It’s a material chosen not just for how it looks, but for how it behaves over time — in real conditions, in the outdoors, and under heat.
In New Zealand, where weather conditions vary it was important to us to offer a product that not only withstands the elements, but continues to perform within them. One of cedar’s most valued qualities is its natural resistance to decay. Unlike many other timbers, cedar contains its own protective oils which help defend against moisture, rot, and insect damage.
Each sauna is constructed using full-length solid cedar panels rather than smaller joined pieces. That means no gluing, no finger-jointing, and no visible splicing. It’s a detail you might not immediately notice, but it plays a significant role in how the sauna performs and ages.
